Meet the photographer

Hey, my name is Deanna Wardin

I am an underwater photographer and founder of Glassquid studio in Vallejo, CA.  I moved to the Bay Area from Colorado back in 2010 to open Tattoo Boogaloo in San Francisco with two of the best folks around. I am happy to report that the tattoo shop is still going strong, and I still tattoo, but lately the water has been calling and I now split my time between photography and tattooing.

My approach

You are the art.  My goal is to work together with you to create breathtaking, one of a kind images, while always keeping your safety and comfort first.

The studio pool was custom built for photoshoots in mind and is heated when needed for your comfort.

I am a  visual storytellers that aim to not only deliver beautiful images from your time here in the studio, but to also give you a unique, fun, and skill building experience.

Modeling underwater can be challenging, especially if it's your first time but it is also fun and rewarding! Every photoshoot comes with complementary coaching so you can better control your buoyancy, breath hold, and posing underwater.  You don't even have to know how to swim, as long as you are comfortable putting your head underwater, we can always stay in the shallows!

Whether capturing ethereal underwater portraits, or collaborating with brands, I am here to bring the art of underwater photography to you.
